Position Overview

We meticulously seek detail-oriented Proofreaders to ensure the highest quality of written content. As a proofreader, you will identify and correct errors, ensuring consistency, and enhancing readability across various documents and projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and formatting errors.

• Ensure adherence to specific style guides (APA, MLA, Chicago, or client-specific).

• Cross-check factual information, references, and citations for accuracy.

• Collaborate with editors and writers to meet project goals and deadlines.

• Provide constructive feedback to improve overall content quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in proofreading or editing.

• Exceptional command of the English language (additional languages are a plus).

• Familiarity with various style guides.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Compensation

We offer competitive industry-standard remuneration:

• £20–£35/hour, based on experience and project complexity.
